WHAT IF WE ARE MINDFUL AND RESPECTFUL TOWARDS EVIL?

“Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies”. Ps.40:4

Whenever someone deviates from truth and right, there is no other way out but lies. There is nothing between truth and lies, just as there is nothing besides life and death, nor between curse and blessing. God said, “I put before you a curse and a blessing, life and death”, nothing more. There is no twilight between darkness and light, even though illusion says there is.

The effect of truth and living light upon the world, is a clear separation – none can avoid that. Christ will never mingle with darkness, if He would, He would have accepted Satan’s offer after fasting for forty days and nights. He made it clear unto us and we should know that by now. If Christ does not separate His light from darkness, darkness will never change and light will, because darkness loves itself as it is. There is no way sin will stop looking at the green pastures of Sodom and there is no way Light will stop looking out towards heaven. And if it finds the Judge mingling with such corrupted views concerning life and death, sinful people would never find any reason to die unto sinful sin, fully.

But there is still the possibility, contrary to what Abraham did by turning left if Sodom was at his right side, that we keep looking unto sin from afar or even from near, depending on how far we may have moved from it. We feel we haven’t gone to Sodom, yet keep looking and supporting it through our undying lust for it. That’s where people start looking at sin, pointing to others for they judge according to the sin inside, seeing their sins being committed by others. So, lying is not what we are able to see in Sodomites alone, but what we are able to be in ourselves. Because we do not participate in open sinning, therefore we feel not guilty, but lusty only – that’s just how one may deceive oneself into indulging wrongdoing, without being a partaker of it openly. We state that we feel not sin, therefore we are not sinful nor guilty of it.

We create an atmosphere of our own, which may lead us away from the living God without “feeling” the guilt of sin around. We appreciate sinning in others, therefore we appreciate others who are against God in deed and action at heart. We become deranged and illusioned concerning the matters of a Living, Judging God from whom we read that “God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment”, 2Pe 2:4. We appreciate the movies we are able to fill up our own lusts with, the sinful stories of others, enjoy a killer while in action without killing out of ourselves - even though we are never able to participate in that openly. This means that, whoever respects sin, has a secret love towards it still in him.

Consequently, people hate God and we want to deal with them kindly, as well as with their sinning businesses, things dear to their heart. These are at enmity against God and God against them all, yet we still believe to be able to bring them into the same heart - ours - by not being what we enjoy looking at. Sin is deceitful, even to that point of light heartedness and frivolity. There we start to respect the proud, who hate God. And because we live not in sin openly, yet sin lives and abides in us, we become ashamed and fearful to “hurt people” we believe we love only because we love sin. And because God is quite and looking on, we rather choose sides with the sinful in the face of God, which we do not see, respecting whom we are able to see more. We go on calling love to have people destroy and corrupt themselves all the time, approving their going to hell, never condemning sin yet accepting God;  therefore, there should be such a doctrine such as “accepting” Christ as it is delivered unto us today. By it, we may be ashamed of God, or accept sinning as part of daily living, as if there is nothing wrong with it, at all. We feel “light” and sinful at the same time, now supporting sinful ways yet rejecting its full practice, or now accepting God but not His ways as they are to enjoy them that way, “not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God”, "ever learning and never able to come to the full knowledge of the truth", 2Tim 3:7, and "having a form of godliness, but denying the power of it; turn away from these", 2Tim.3:5.

We find ways of being pleasant unto all men, staying away from reprimanding sin on the spot. Conscience deceives us because we partake not in sin in open daylight, yet we share in it with and through the eye of sin. We find and conceive ways of giving a stabilizing shoulder where sin shall cry upon, so we may still look at it quiet enough to resemble the peace of Gomorra. How frivolous has this gospel become which accepts sin in others because we have it or love it ourselves! Also, we dissociate that practice from lovelessness, because we “care” that they are going to hell. We forget that by supporting sin, we are supporting sinning itself, seeing no sinner finds in us any reason whatsoever to stop it and to stay away from sinning anymore! We show, somehow, we love sin and its ways by having it survive as the nations among Israel did so well. It is from there we start becoming ashamed of God and His words because we deal treacherously by comforting sinners towards sinful ways. And because sinners are ashamed of God, we are ashamed of Him ourselves because we love to be their kindred more.

In the same way, God and His Spirit deal towards us as a Comforter, seeing we live upright when acknowledging His ways alone, having the water clear and spotless among the saints in the holy house of God. And because people know God and His Spirit as a Comforter Who does never comfort them – because comfort is what people aim at when in sin – they start blaming God for their distresses and uneasinesses in their ways. God said, as He said “let there be light and there was light, “no peace, saith my God, to the wicked”, Is. 57:21, and so, there is no peace of mind to the wicked since ever, so it may lead him unto God.

We find multiple sinning in this: we deal not with and against our sinfulness as we should because we are tolerating towards it; we love not our neighbor for we accept him going to hell; and we endanger our souls by becoming ashamed of the words of Christ among an evil and corrupt generation. Therefore Christ has said: “Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels”, Mar 8:38, for this generation has become ashamed of professing it does not go around with woman and feels not ashamed to say it does; the same principle may be applied fully towards lying, smoking, and any conceivable sinning there may ever be under the sun. This all starts off by having sinful pride being respected among us. We love it not that the devil has a vile fame among us because of Creation and the decree of a Holy God, judging upon sinning by that decree alone. We would rather love it  somehow.

It may bring us, if we are to be counted as “blessed” as is “Blessed that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies”, that we will have to choose sides from a point on to become full partners in worship which is real and fully accepted by God. Cain, before becoming a killer, might have been someone who did not sin, but did not do well either. thats why God said, "And if you do not do well, sin crouches at the door; and its desire is for you, and you shall rule over it", Gen.4:7.

God said “The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth”, Gen 6:13. From this it may follow that there is no way to stop God from destroying all the vileness of all men once and for all, together with all the earth which has chosen to substantiate and cooperate with sin. We should speedily find out where we stand concerning this, for God will come at such a time few will expect Him to come. The Lord Jesus said, if we love truth and uprightness, “a man's foes shall be they of his own household.  (37)  He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.  (38)  And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.  (39)  He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it”, Mat 10:36-39 KJV. This is where we have to choose between those we “love” but who hate God, and Jesus and His words. God makes no exceptions upon this issue. Should we have father and mother at our side, or God, their Creator? Should we have the whole world for us and God against any of us at all? Or should we believe we are not foes unto God since we do not participate upon the sinning we openly support? Whose friend are we? “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God”, Jam 4:4.

This is nothing but a question of side-taking. Do you choose to be God’s friend as did Abraham or your mother, brother or even fiancé's friend? Or will you be turned into an enemy to God as did Balaam by blessing God’s people yet showing how to go about to have God be put against them? You can never serve God and Mammon at the same church, in the same business. Choose one now, for I assure you God will destroy this whole world soon and none of your friends, with the exception of those who truly love God from a pure heart, will ever govern the future world. Amen.
