WHO WILL HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD?

"(45)  And because I tell you the truth, you do not believe Me(47)  He who is of God hears God's Words. Therefore you do not hear them because you are not of God", John 8:45,47, MKJV

People will always want to hear from God, even if it is for the show of it all, alone. But there are those who state God has never spoken to them. I believe they are all wrong, for I am confident it is they who will not hear; I mean that “Yet Jehovah has not given you a heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, until today”, Deut.29:4. To be enabled to hear God, Who is always speaking and never repeating Himself seeing every day is always a new day unto Him – as it should be unto us as well – is always linked to the kind of person we might be, to the kind of heart we may have. Jesus said that whoever hears God is from God. If and when one does not hear, it may never mean God is not speaking. To those who can hear and God says nothing, they do not hear because God is not speaking - but God may be speaking to such who have another wave sound and pertain to another world and hear not. Any radio cannot be tuned unless it is able to catch the wave-length something is transmitted around.

Consequently, whoever does not hear as he should hear, can’t ever be in right standing with God. Therefore, to be able to hear from God, we will have to be turned into sheep ourselves and never try a way out into the sheepfold which is not the door to it, it is, by promoting, praising, upholding whoever is blessed and mightily used of God Himself. He, the Word we are to acknowledge is truthful, says “and the sheep hear his voice (and not such who praise sheep or shepherds), and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And they will not follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers”, John 10:5. From this follows that we have to be real sheep to be able to hear from Him. What has this to link us to truth? The fact is that it has nothing to do with whether truth is spoken out or not, with whether a lie is used to achieve and to perceive or not. It is intrinsically linked to the kind of heart we may have, whether it be of the same kind of whomever speaks. The devil is a liar, but in case he will speak the truth, people like him will hear and listen carefully. If God would ever lie, people from His own sheepfold would listen unto Him. Truthful people obey truth unconsciously.

This is but a question of being alike, of the same kind, of the same blood, of the same sound wave. But, if someone is not from the truth, even if God speaks truthfully, they will never be attracted unto Him or unto whatever He states with loving kindness of His own, of His kind. Because it is so, Jesus says: “And because I tell you the truth (and not the devil), you do not believe Me”. “I have come in My Father's name, and you do not receive Me. If another shall come in his own name, him you will receive. If anyone desires to do His will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it is of God, or I speak from Myself”. John 5:43; 7:17. Because it is Jesus, therefore, people will not hear from Him. “They are of the world, therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.  (6)  We are of God. He who knows God hears us. The one who is not of God does not hear us. From this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error”, 1John 4:5-6 MKJV.

If we would want to hear from God, how He speaks, we should never loose our time in trying to discern between the voices we hear, but rather to use that time fully up to be turned into real sheep rather. The voice is never the problem; to hear is not the problem either; the only problem is the kind of people we are, the kind of heart we may or may not have. Whoever hears not God, is not from God. To hear from Him is precisely what the whole of the New Testament is all about, to be personally in touch with Him and to be taught by Him. So, we may not discern between truth or lies, between words and doctrines fully set up and well arranged with wisdom, but rather if people are from God or not. The devil preaches better than Finney, D.L. Moody and Andrew Murray put together, if he only wants to do so.

Obedience unto God has more to do with the kind of genuinely input impulses of the whole of being of man, than of truth or lies heard, more than even with the faculties we were born with, or hearing capacities. It has to do with a heart beat and burn, if it is of the same kind, with a desire common unto whoever speaks and whoever listens, a heart beat which has a beating in synchrony and same harmony. That is why we read “You in Me, and Me in you!”, John 15. It happens to be a symphony of heartbeats, a synchronized breath, a same kind of being, a synchronization of beings. Whem people speak the same language, they grasp each other, even in the air. We hear because we are of the same kind.

Would you want to be able to hear from God personally? Listen carefully, for this is no sign enticement, no ticket to a show. If you become sheep, you will surely be enable to hear from Him. There is no other way out, no other way to enter. If we do hear from Him, it is because we are sheep, or else He speaks always and we have not ears to hear: “Yet Jehovah has not given you a heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, until today”, Deut.29:4. Find God to change you rather quickly. Never try to discern between His voice and some other, for if you do you are in the wrong track, for God is able and faithful enough to speak unto sheep – His sheep – as soon they become truthful and faithful as He is. Try and ask to be turned unto a real sheep. To try and discern the voices so you may achieve the right one, will make you a common thief, getting to the sheepfold but not through the gate of obedience and truthfulness. Be sheep and hear God speak then. Amen.
